Harris Connell knew from the time he entered college and graduated from the home building program at Trinity University that he was destined to build. He began his career in San Antonio, with a partner, and built custom homes as Prestige Homes from 1961 until 1986. It was then that he took up partnership with Ed Barron to form Prestige Homes by Connell-Barron. In 1994, the name changed to Connell-Barron Homes. Although there have been many changes, both gentlemen agree that through the fluctuations of the industry, home building has always been fun.
