City Builders Inc. was founded by Gordon Gregg in 1988 and established its first office in Lynnwood, Washington. City Builders is a full service, residential remodeling company that has developed strong working relationships with the Seattle metropolitan, Eastside, and Snohomish County areas. By building on our relationships and producing quality work, our company has grown substantially since 1988. When we realized we needed additional office space to help us stay organized and strengthen our relationships with our clients, we converted a four- bedroom home with a large workshop in the back into our new office space. Along with our new look, we have increased our staff in all phases of the company. City Builders is recognized as a customer-needs driven, professional remodeling company that is dedicated to quality. We have a great deal of experience and expertise in all forms of construction. We are committed to total customer satisfaction and unquestionable integrity in our field. We always keep the customer's best interest at heart. Our employees maintain a strong professional commitment to the community and have served in many volunteer events. City Builders has participated in the Remodeled Homes Tour every year since 1997. The tour donates a portion of its proceeds to local charities. Gordon Gregg is an active member of the Master Builders Association (MBA) and was the 2001 Chairman of the Remodeler's Council. He is also a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). In 2001, he was voted Remodeler of the Year by the MBA. In 2004, he was inducted into the Remodeling Big 50 Hall of Fame. Also, in 2004, he served as Chairman on the BIAW Remodeler's Council. City Builders is a dedicated member of the Professional Remodeler's Council comprising a select group of 15 contracters from all over the United States who help each other to build excellence in their companies. City Builders also belongs to the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKAB), the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and we are an Honor Roll member of the Master Builders Association (MBA). The company has been featured in various publications. National publications that have written about our projects include 50 Dream Baths (2005), Better Homes and Gardens Simply Perfect Before & After (2004), Remodeling (May 2004 and December, 2001), Remodeling Ideas (March/April 2003 and Winter, 2001), and Woman's Day Specials, Home Remodeling & Makeovers (2004). Locally, the Herald has headlined a few of our special projects. City Builders is actively involved in the Built Green field. We have built nine 3 Star Built Green Homes.
