Over 19 years ago, my father and I owned a construction business, specializing in commercial and industrial design and remodeling. When my father decided to retire, I was given the wonderful opportunity to open my own company.I thought about my years in commercial and industrial design and remodeling and I was grateful for all I had learned. And while I would never want to be completely away from that aspect of construction, when it came right down to it, what I really wanted to do was start a company where the majority of my work would be in interior design and home remodeling.
