President Anthony Paulos, a native Washingtonian, graduate of The Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, founded Block Builders in 1990. His involvement in the construction business began in 1983, and after working for other firms in the early years, he became convinced that the industry needed something different. Tony was determined to offer clients a first class level of service, integrity and reliability along with superior craftsmanship; thus breaking the mold of inconsistency and problems that still plagues the trade.
