Mountain Top Excavation LLC (MTE) exists to shape and sculpt the landscape and to meet and exceed customer expectations in the thriving Oil and Gas Industry. Mountain Top Excavation has been clearing land in Western Pennsylvania since its inception and currently specializes in site preparation for oil and gas drilling.
The Marcellus Shale formation, which sits about a mile below the ground and covers the vast majority of Western PA, contains a rich, deep pocket of untapped Natural Gas. As a result, drilling companies have been leasing privately-owned mineral rights and drilling throughout the region. Each drilling site must be cleared properly, efficiently, quickly and with expert care and precision in order for the drilling process to succeed, and when these companies want the job done right, they turn to MTE.
