Company Description:
HADCO was founded in 1976 with its origins in agriculture irrigation. John Hadfield worked in farming related businesses in Idaho and Wyoming and later found success installing and servicing irrigation systems in Utah. In 1994, HADCO Construction was formed and provides development support to home and commercial builders, as well as road construction services to regional, state and local transportation systems.
Headquartered in Lehi, Utah, HADCO Construction has over 300 employees and is a $50 million company with three divisions: residential, commercial and heavy highway construction services. The company has flourished by constantly reinventing itself in response to changing market conditions in the construction industry.
By utilizing strategic vertical integration, HADCO Residential Construction has bundled its services to provide homebuilders in Utah a single source for site development. The company oversees infrastructure work including: road creation, paving subdivisions, lot development by digging basements, installing sewer lines, concrete, flatwork, foundation and miscellaneous water work.
The company operates TM Crushing LLC, a sand and gravel venture with six pits along the Wasatch Front of Utah. In an average year, the company will process in excess of one million tons of aggregate material.
In January 2010, HADCO Heavy Highway Construction was selected by the Utah Department of Transportation to build the Utah County segment of the Mountain View Corridor, a planned freeway, transit and trail system in western Salt Lake and northwestern Utah counties, servicing 13 municipalities.
HADCO will build the three-mile road along 2100 North from Redwood Road to I-15 adjacent to the company headquarters in Lehi, Utah. The project consists of constructing a frontage road system of two lanes in each direction with signalized intersections and building four new bridges spanning the Jordan River. The project is slated for completion in the fall of 2011.
