Founded in 1903, McLean Contracting Company has continuously demonstrated steady adaptation, improvement and growth. For approximately a century, McLean has been in the Heavy Construction Industry performing an extensive range of both land based and marine.
McLean has built and rehabilitated numerous bridges, piers, bulkheads, and pipelines, performed heavy lifts, and marine salvage work for both public and private customers. In the 1970's, McLean purchased two properties (1) Curtis Bay, Maryland and (2) Chesapeake, Virginia which still serve as construction yards to support their field operations in its various endeavors. In 1988, McLean moved from downtown Baltimore to its new headquarters in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
