TBC Commercial Construction, LLC began in April 2000 when Bobby McCoy Sr. purchased CSSI Construction and changed the name to Texas Best Construction. That would allow Texas Best Construction (TBC), as a sole-proprietor, to begin specializing in framing, sheetrock, flooring, concrete, ceramic tile, wall preparation, painting, building carpentry, finish carpentry and equipment setting for both new and remodel buildings. In 2003, TBC changed the business practice and began to serve clients as a General Contractor (GC) and quickly became successful, which allowed the company to grow in size and ability to perform. The result was a strategic move that enabled TBC to perform effectively as a clients general contractor of choice on all types of projects throughout Texas.
In 2007, Tejas Best Construction, Inc. was formed to support TBC in specific projects. Eventually, TBC would become a LLC in July 2011. TBC provides all resources in framing, sheetrock, concrete, etc., which helps provide more competitive costs for all projects. TBC currently has a staff of 10 superintendents, 3 estimators, 1 general superintendent (Bobby Sr.), along with a large staff of drywall framers and sheetrock installers.
Today, TBC is successfully performing various construction projects in South Texas, DFW Metroplex, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. The quality of workmanship, competitive bidding practices, and an experienced management staff, continues to give TBC an advantage to find new clients as well as retain clients familiar with their personal attitude to serve them well. That success encourages TBC to provide even more service to its clients by offering a complete Design/Build project delivery method.
