Our parent company, Ahtna, Inc., established by Congress as one of 13 Alaska Native Regional Corporations under the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, has experienced solid, steady growth since incorporating in 1972. Ahtna serves more than 1,200 shareholders, manages a land entitlement of 1.7 million acres, and, when combined with its subsidiaries, employs more than 1,300 people nationwide.
