Halme Construction is a heavy highway utility contractor. We are centered in the Spokane, Washington area and serve the Inland Northwest region.Halme Construction performs over 11 million in contracts annually and employs approximately 45 employees.Halme Construction began as a light Commercial residential building contractor in Southwest Washington in 1980.In 1992 the operations were moved to Eastern Washington and continued its course of business.In 1994 an excavation division was created to augment the building division and was incorporated as a family business to include seven sons.In 1994 the Excavation division began to explore heavy work and completed a bridge for Lincoln County.In 2003 as a response to growth and opportunities the building division was separated from Halme Construction and Halme Builders was formed to continue its building construction. Halme Construction continues to operate as an excavation company which a few of the sons currently manage.Halme Construction performs the majority of its work in public contracts for roads, utilities, and bridges. We also perform work for private developers installing infrastructure for their developments.Halme Construction has a wide range of earthmoving and grading equipment that allows us to perform high quality work at a competitive price. Halme Construction has invested in leading edge technology including GPS grade control, project management, estimating, and accounting.
