Gilford was established in 1984 as Gilford & Chase, a civil engineering firm. In 1995, we changed our focus to General Contracting and our name to Gilford Corporation, and became Small Business Administration 8(a) certified. We experienced significant growth in the ensuring years and graduated from the SBA 8(a) program in November 2003. Gilford uses a proven methodology, which results in a consistent, organized, predictable, and process-oriented plans to achieve each project's objectives.
