Lomax Construction began operations on July 11, 1996. Starting with three employees and $102,830.00 an office was quickly secured in the Greensboro Business Center (a small business incubator) in August of 1996. The challenge, with intense competition from other local contractors, was to identify our company as a serious contender. We carefully developed our mission statement, which was emphasized to our employees, subcontractors and customers. The mission statement was also printed on all Lomax business cards, construction uniforms and used widely in advertising.
