Company Description:
Tilden-Coil Constructors is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety training, awareness, and practice for all employees and subcontractors and sees improvement of safety efforts as an investment for all. By doing so, Tilden-Coil Constructors has been able to lower its Mod Rate to an enviable level of 0.70. Enhancing safety into the work environment and lowering the Mod Rate has been achieved by numerous means. For example, Tilden-Coil Constructors attends continuous safety education courses primarily through our insurance provider. Other examples are providing in-house safety education meetings, once in summer and in the first of each year. These meetings include seminars conducted by outside sources and safety quizzes with prizes awarded to all top scorers. Tilden-Coil Constructors also produces production manuals distributed to all employees providing information on how to manage particular safety issues. Everyone at Tilden-Coil Constructors is responsible for safety. Tilden-Coil Constructors maintains an employee safety committee, to promote safe work practices within the company and to comply with OSHA requirements. The committee consists of the company's Safety Officer, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Superintendents. The committee meets on a quarterly basis to discuss past, current, and future safety related topics for the company. A Quarterly Safety Report is created following each meeting and distributed to all employees and is available to the public. These safety reports are evidence of the quality of our efforts in the area of employee health and safety. The committee also conducts quarterly safety inspections on all Tilden-Coil Constructors projects and develops a report listing all safe and unsafe conditions noted during the inspection including corrective actions if required. Employee safety is Tilden-Coil Constructors paramount concern.
