Employing its own construction arm, headed by Jeffrey Stone, the David R. Johns Development Company successfully built over one million square feet of office projects throughout the middle 1980's. In 1986, Jeffrey Stone purchased the construction entity of David R. Johns' Development Company, thus starting Summit Builders Construction Company. Mr. Stone still serves as Summit's active president and CEO. Now, in its sixteenth year, Summit Builders with headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, and a regional office in Newport Beach, California, has quickly achieved prominence as one of the western United State's premiere construction companies.
