Luxa Construction was founded in 1979 by owner Mike Luxa. In the early years the company did mostly residential concrete work and had just a few employees. In the 1980's we started doing small commercial work and expanded into building box culverts and even an occasional swimming pool.In 1988 the company started in the concrete paving business and has grown in that market every year since. We are now a multi-million dollar a year company that does concrete paving, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water line installation.We have many valued employees that have helped the company grow to where it is today. Our supervisors have a combined 70 years plus of experience in concrete construction and several employees have been with us for well over ten years.Luxa Construction has worked in numerous small towns in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. We have completed projects for the Nebraska Department of Roads, City of Omaha, Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska as well as many other communities, counties and subdivisions throughout the area.In summary, Luxa Construction has grown from a one-man outfit with a pickup, wheelbarrow, and some 2x4's to a company that has over 40 employees, several million dollars worth of equipment and builds projects worth several million dollars each.
