Hemingway Construction Corporation, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, has served Fairfield County and the surrounding area for over 33 years, building and renovating distinguished homes for discerning clients. After moving to the United States as a boy, from Minturno, Italy, Salvatore Sciarretta was able in 1972 to start Hemingway Construction out of a passion acquired in his native country for building with quality craftsmanship and personal attention to fine detail. Since 1993, Sal's son Peter Sciarretta, following a fortuitous career change, has played an important role in helping to propel Hemingway into a new dimension of home construction. During the past few years, and in the tradition of a true family business, Salvatore's eldest son, Sal came on board as well as son-in-law Douglas Horn, providing on-site attention to detail-driven projects. The Hemingway team is on-site from the first day of construction to the last punch list to insure quality workmanship and complete satisfaction for every client.
