Our team of carpenters and subcontractors share the same consideration for quality workmanship and personalized service. Zimmermann Construction was established in 1987. With an eye for design and quality, John brings over 28 years of experience to the job. Zimmermann Construction consists of a select crew of craftsman that work with a wide array of materials to construct personalized custom homes. Initial Meeting: Call and make an appointment to discuss your project. The initial 1 hour consultation is free of charge. Scheduling: Early planning helps to insure a chosen start time for your project. Our schedule is booked months in advance, outwards of 12+ months. Contract & Deposit: Upon commitment to a project, a building deposit agreement, between the parties, is signed and a non-refundable deposit made to Zimmermann Construction,to later be applied towards the project. Billing: The majority of work performed by Zimmermann Construction is billed on time and material, plus a 11% management/overhead fee, rather than by bid. Each line item on a monthly customer bill relates to and includes a copy of the job material or subcontractors invoice, allowing you to have a record of the actual material and labor cost. The management fee is figured and billed on the total of each monthly invoice (excluding excise tax). Monthly bills are delivered at the first of the month and are payable upon receipt.
