With a desire to put his engineering degree from LSU to work, Bernard Bennett founded Goliath Construction Company in 1957. Bernie's passion for building QUALITY buildings on schedule and within budget quickly became Goliath's core corporate identity. Harry Lazarus, joined the business in 1973 and became the president of the company in 1983. Over the past 50 years, we have been involved in a variety of commercial construction projects across southern Louisiana: - New Construction- Tenant Build-Out - Renovations- Design Build- Metal Buildings- Concrete Tilt-UpThe key to our success is COMMUNICATION. When problems arise, we don't respond by pointing fingers. We determine how to proceed in an appropriate manner which remains true to the original design, without breaking the bank. Our experience teaches us that much more can be accomplished through a positive exchange of ideas with REALISTIC OBJECTIVES. We continually upgrade our organization technologically and educationally to provide each client with a product you can rely on - an organized, efficient, and safe project with clear, sensible goals.
