Cosmur Construction was founded in 1973 by its current chairman John Cosgrove and his business partner Danny Murphy. The company specialised in public sector housing work and this remains the core business. We are happy to say that many of our early clients are still with us today. We began to diversify into new build and other building sectors in the 1980s and now offer a wide range of construction services. Our client list includes Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Schools and Hospital Trusts as well as numerous private individuals and commercial organisations. Cosmur has enjoyed a period of controlled growth in recent years but at the same time has managed to maintain its friendly and co-operative attitude. The success of this approach is demonstrated, not only by the fact that the vast majority of contracts are repeat business, but also by our very high staff retention levels.
