Lorig Construction Company is a family-owned business operating in the Chicagoland area. The main operations of the company include bridge and structural concrete construction, road construction, earth retention systems, pile driving and soundwall construction.
Lorig Construction Company has been under current ownership since 1986 and its management employees have hundreds of years of construction experience. Since its inception, Lorig Construction has been involved in almost every major highway reconstruction project in the Chicagoland area. Some of these projects have been the Tri-State Tollway, the Kingery Expressway and O'Hare Field.
Our projects range in size from ten thousand dollars to seventy million dollars. The projects range from simple one day projects to complex multi-million dollar projects. Our client list includes the Illinois Dept. of Transportation, the lllinois State Toll Highway Authority, the City of Chicago as well as various railroads and other private entities. Our main focus is in the highway and bridge construction sector. However, we have also performed many pile driving, earth retention system and soundwall construction projects.
We employ over 300 people and self-perform all structural concrete, all paving concrete, drainage, demolition, earthwork, pile driving as well as various other items.
We are a full-service company and can take a project from beginning to end. We offer design/build services in partnership with any one of the engineering design firms that we have worked with on past projects.
We own and maintain 100% of our equipment, as well as a large inventory of materials, and are able to mobilize quickly, if needed, for a specific project.
As a family-owned, private business, we take great pride in our work. During its 20 years, Lorig Construction has received an award every year from at least one government agency. We have never had a dispute with an owner, subcontractor, supplier or engineer that resulted in litigation.
