Started in 1976, Speegle Construction has spent many years developing a strong organization. Under Jim Speegle's leadership the company completed projects valued in excess of $300 million. Specialties of the company were light commercial, underground utility, waste water treatment plants, roofing, offices, libraries, residential and large government projects. During this time, Speegle's primary market of operations was central and south Florida, the Carribean Islands, and islands in the South Pacific. In the mid 1990's revenues from these markets began to steadily decrease. In response, Speegle Construction opened a field office in Niceville, Florida in an attempt to capture a portion of the construction dollars at the areas large military installations and participate in the rapidly growing commercial market.
