Hogan & Associates began in 1945 when two friends, Eric Hogan and Derrell Tingey, began building houses for returning war veterans. In its infancy the company stuck to small, private-sector projects, not moving into the commercial realm until five years later with the remodel of a local church. Growth was inevitable, however, and soon Hogan and Tingey grew to what the two men had only dreamed of but had worked hard for. In 1995, after fifty years together, the Hogans and the Tingeys split into two separate companies to pursue separate markets.
Today Hogan is one of the intermountain west's most experienced and respected construction companies. In the last ten years, we've won the Associated General Contractors of Utah's Building Project of the Year Award three times, Intermountain Contractor Magazine's "Best K-12 Educational Project" Award twice, and multiple other awards and commendations.
