NRS Consulting Engineers was founded in 1988 with offices in Arkansas and Texas. The company began doing business in Oklahoma in 1994 and formed an Oklahoma corporation (RSF, Inc. dba NRS Consulting Engineers) in 2004 with offices in Durant and Antlers, Oklahoma. Since that time our company has grown rapidly and with the merger/purchase of several respected engineering firms has experienced a dramatic increase in: A) our client base; B) the number and complexity of our projects; and C) the number and expertise of our employees. We now have Oklahoma offices in, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Perry and Tulsa, as well as an Arkansas office in Little Rock. We have grown from 4 employees to more than 45. Today, we have 6 offices in two states with a combined staff of 13 P.E.s, 5 E.I.s, and 27 Support Personnel.
At the beginning of 2006, we purchased and merged with Infrastructure Design Services (IDS) and Engineering Design Solutions (EDS). IDS and EDS were founded in 2003 and had four employees in 2006. The firms had a strong reputation in structural, drainage and municipal engineering. This merger formed the basis for our Tulsa office, which now has 11 employees including 2 P.E.s, one E.I., and 8 Support Personnel.
