Mid Columbia Engineering, Inc. (MCE) specializes in the design/build/test of custom mechanical handling and process equipment for the nuclear industry since 1975. We have a fully implemented Nuclear Quality Assurance Program which meets industry standards such as 10 CFR 831.120, ASME NQA-1 (2004) and 10 CFR 50, Appendix B.
Our fabrication facilities include a 15-ton bridge crane with a 25 hook height as well as a 40 test tower and a large lay down and test area. We also have a UL-certified 508A/698A electrical panel shop. MCE has been a fabricator of systems and components for some of the most prominent projects in the DOE EM program including the Waste Treatment Plant at Hanford, DUF6 conversion plants at Portsmouth Ohio and Paducah KY, WSB facility at Savannah River, Thor Treatment Project at Idaho Falls, and MOX facility at Savannah River.
