These designs are used as real time planning tools by the USDoD in the Theater Construction Management System (TCMS). These designs can be site adapted for use anywhere in the world. In addition, these designs are self contained, i.e. power, water, and sewage systems. They include numerous base camps, site plans, and various individual facilities. CASA Designs' team has worked on construction designs throughout the USCENTCOM AOR, and Korea and the team brings this wealth of experience to our Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen whenever and wherever they are deployed.
A major advantage of these sustainable designs is they allow the use of locally procured materials, which saves the USDoD months in construction time, millions of dollars in shipping, and helps bolster the local economies of the countries we are assisting. More importantly, it saves lives that could potentially be lost while transporting these goods on non-secure travel ways. Sustainable designs utilize the best available solutions within the design tradition. They conserve global resources, utilize energy efficiently, recycle materials and waste, and specify ecologically responsible practices in the construction and operations of facilities.
