Founded in September 1991 as Resource Enhancement Services, Inc., RES specializes in engineering studies and analyses, and design services. The firm initially offered energy engineering services to industrial, institutional and commercial customers. RES had the distinction of being selected by National Grid USA (Formerly NEES) to provide engineering services to its customers through energy efficiency programs sponsored by its subsidiaries. We continue this relationship to this day as one of only three engineering firms in New England continuously qualified by National Grid USA to provide these services. RES expanded its offerings into design and engineering in January, 1997. We established mechanical and electrical engineering departments with experienced engineers. Thus, RES became a full service Mechanical, Electrical & Energy Engineering firm providing the following services: HVAC Fire protection and plumbing Electrical Information Technology Energy Engineering Facility Assessment Design-Build In June 2002, RES received ISO 9001:2000 Certification and was recertified in 2003 and 2004. RES is committed to provide quality engineering and responsive service to its customers, which is evident in the engineering expertise assigned to each project. A principal actively oversees each project, ensuring that client expectations are met and concerns are addressed. One of the senior engineers closely supervises the work of the junior staff, in a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, to assure delivery of high quality services. RES offers innovative engineering solutions to meet all of its customers// needs. In June 2004, RES was acquired by The Maricor Group, an affiliate of Maine and Maritimes Corporation.
