Flatirons Surveying, Inc. has been providing a full range of surveying services to the Boulder and Front Range area since 1981. Our extensive files often contain information for jobs performed on or near your property in our area of service. In many cases, having this information available will reduce the cost of our services. We use modern electronic survey instruments and proven field procedures to ensure that information is gathered and transferred accurately and efficiently. We have been using computer-aided drafting since 1986 to produce a professional product that other related disciplines can easily use. Our staff will always treat you courteously. For Improvement Location Certificates, we offer a reduced rate for properties on which we have done previous work. Often, we are able to update a previously issued Improvement Location Certificate with only a short trip to the field to check for new additions and to verify previously used monuments. Since our base of previously performed jobs is increasing, and due to the high number of refinanced mortgages, a large percentage of our recent Improvement Location Certificates are recertifications. This allows us to respond in a timely fashion and to reduce the expense to you. Projects we have performed include pre-engineering design surveys, construction surveying for capital improvement projects, and many types of surveys dealing with property ownership. We are able to meet any drawing standards and are familiar with local, state, and federal requirements. Our extensive accumulation of previously performed jobs, mostly in Boulder County, often contain information useful for the efficient completion of adjacent or nearby jobs. Flatirons Surveying has been using AutoCAD since 1986 and Softdesk (formerly DCA) Engineering Software since 1988. The use of these two quality products allows us to complete projects efficiently and provide information that can be used by other related disciplines with a minimum of data conversion. If data conversion is necessary, we have experienced personnel capable of producing almost any format necessary. We can tailor our services to suit your specific needs. Our experience has included setting up base maps with planimetric view with contours, stationing, plan and profile sheets, and cross sections, and a wide variety of surveying that impacts ownership and conveyances of real property. We are able to meet any drawing conventions required together with any specifications unique to a particular project.
