Crispell-Snyder Inc. was founded in 1979 by Chris Crispell and Orville Snyder. Both were working for another firm when it was purchased by Donohue & Associates of Sheboygan. By the end of the year, Crispell-Snyder had established itself as a provider of municipal engineering services for Southeastern Wisconsin. The firm opened an office in Germantown to better serve their clients in the northern communities of Southeastern Wisconsin. Around the same time a new office was built in Lake Geneva to accommodate additional growth. The firm//s strategic planning dictated growth by adding further civil and municipal services and in early 2006, Crispell-Snyder acquired Mid-America Planning, Inc., a planning firm located in Madison, WI. MAPS, a division of Crispell-Snyder, will enhance the firm//s current services with municipal planning and development. Currently the company employs over 100 people and continues to grow, adding additional staff, specialties and service lines to meet the needs of their clients.
