In 1926, G.E. Evans founded a private practice engineering and surveying firm. In 1949, W.H. Mechwart joined Mr. Evans and they continued successful operation under the name Evans and Mechwart. With the addition of two new partners in 1954, the firm became Evans, Mechwart, Hambleton & Tilton, today called simply EMH&T.
The tradition for quality work that began in 1926 continues today. Our firm carries a timeless attitude for excellence utilizing a full complement of professional and technical personnel and land survey crews. We offer an extensive array of services including civil engineering, land surveying, environmental management, landscape architecture and land planning. EMH&T is proud of its diversity with engineers registered to practice in the 22 states across the Midwest and Southeast. EMH&T completes its diversity with branch offices in Charlotte, North Carolina; Cincinnati, Ohio; and in Indianapolis, Indiana.
