With a professional and technical staff of over 130, we offer expertise in environmental investigation, design and remediation, regulatory compliance, permitting, ESA, risk assessments, industrial hygiene (asbestos, lead based paint, mold), natural and cultural resources, WWTP design and operations, and construction management. This is a full-time position working out of either our Chicago or Minneapolis office. General duties of the position will include: managing various construction projects for federal and commercial clients; preparing estimates/bids; plan, execute, monitor and control construction projects to successful conclusions (client satisfied, profit goal achieved); interact with clients; provide status reports to senior management; lead teams of engineers, construction supervisors, laborers, and subcontractors. Requirements Candidates must have 5 to 10 years related experience in project management and personnel supervision, strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and senior management, and knowledge of building trades and labor issues. Must have computer skills for cost estimating, scheduling, and experience with status reporting software (Microsoft Project) and general office software (MS Office). Position requires a BA or BS in engineering or related field. Must have a valid driver's license. Prefer certifications of Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional.
