MEA had 52,310 customers as of year-end 2006, and combined revenues of more than $86.3 million. MEA continues to work at trimming controllable costs to the lowest possible level, consistent with maintaining high standards of safety and reliability. MEA is a locally-regulated transmission and distribution cooperative which serves approximately 38,000 customers with 46,000 active accounts.
