OUR HISTORY
* Steiner Electric is a successor of Burckhardt Electric Inc., which was founded in 1933.
* Robert Steiner joined Burckhardt in 1952, learned the electrical trade and purchased the business in 1962. He changed the name to Steiner Electric Inc., giving the company his name - a name that reflects integrity, honesty and personal values.
In the years that followed Bob's father, Elroy and brother, Ron worked their electrical craft along with other qualified electricians. With Bob at the helm, they expanded the company from residential electrical contracting to include commercial and industrial electrical contracting.
* In the early 1970's, Bob's oldest son, Rick, joined the company. Rick graduated from the electrical apprentice program and became a licensed journeyman in 1978. Rick later attained master electrician and electrical designer licenses.
As time went on, Steiner Electric continued to grow and is very proud of its many construction accomplishments. Soon it was time for a new generation to take over.
* In 1984, Rick and his wife Gayle became business partners with Bob.
* In 1995, Rick and Gayle bought Bob's portion of the business and continued to manage the company with the same values and integrity their customers and community had come to expect.
* In 1999, Rick and Gayle's son, Robb, joined their company. Robb grew up immersed in family values, strong work ethnic and community sharing. Robb graduated from the ABC apprenticeship program and holds a journeyman license. He currently runs the service department at Steiner Electric.
Today, more than five decades later, we at Steiner Electric honor the memories of Elroy and Bob by continuing the tradition of family values and integrity. We work hard to bring the very best to our customers, the people we work with, and the people we work for.
