Ally attended the Fine Arts School at Washington University in St. Louis. She was fortunate to study under the tutelage of master Scandanavian craftsman Heiki Seppa. During this time, Ally perfected her skills in abstract and technical design. After receiving her BFA in metalsmithing, she launched her career at Cartier Jewelers. Soon after, Ally developed a reputation as a model-maker where she designed and created models for the most prominent collections in the accessory industry. It didn't take long to establish her own accessory company in 1991. Since then, Mike + Ally has become the preeminent designer and manufacturer of luxury bath accessories. One of the few remaining bath companies that manufactures in the United States, Mike + Ally accessories are custom made by trained artisans using proprietary techniques. Each piece is meticulously hand enameled and then embellished with semi precious stones and metal ornaments. Mike + Ally products take on their own character - their eloquent looks distinguish them from all other bath collections.
