Wilson Blake began seeling heat transfer equipment, boilers and hot water, out of his garage
in Hartford, CT in 1930 and in 1945 became a Cleaver Brooks distributor. Richard Cuda
purchased the company in 1967 and expanded into pump systems, water systems and
service businesses. Under the leadership of Fred Cuda, the additions of JW Stevens,
Northeast Mechanical Corporation and Blake Water Solutions (BWS), formerly Tenergy Christ
Water-RCL Water Treatment Division to the Group expanded the distribution and service
network throughout Northeast. Customer Service and value have always been and always
will remain the focus of The Blake Group and the source of its growth.
