In recent years, Sciaky has developed procedures that utilize our EB welding technology, coupled with a wire feed system to build parts from computer models using a layer additive technique. This technology is referred to in general as "additive manufacturing," and has been referred to using several different names, including Direct Manufacturing (DM), Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM), and EBFFF or EBF3 (Electron Beam Free Form Fabrication).
