Briggs International is a privately held equipment distribution holding company with independent business units located in the US, Mexico and the UK. The holding company seeks to centralize the HR function for it's two US businesses; Briggs Equipment and Briggs Construction Equipment. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced professional to lead the HR strategy for these business units from it's Dallas headquarters.
Briggs Industrial Equipment is the largest distributor of Yale fork trucks in the United States. With 20 branch locations located throughout the Southwest, Briggs sells, rents and repairs equipment for a total annual revenue of over $240 million. With over 600 employees and 300 service technicians, Briggs has a significant presence in the marketplace and is seen as a leader in equipment distribution and repair.
Briggs Construction Equipment is the largest U.S. distributor of Case construction equipment. Located in the Southeast and headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Briggs employees over 300 employees. They have seen significant revenue reductions in the past several years as the real estate market collapsed, and have significantly reduced their operations to meet the reduced demand. 2008 revenues exceeded $150 million and the 2009 plan anticipates revenue near $137 million.
