McKenna Engineering & Equipment Co, is part of a group of companies that we refer to as McKenna Companies. This group consists of three corporations; McKenna Engineering & Equipment Co., Inc , Pump Systems Inc., and Environmental Water Solutions, Inc. Pump systems and Environmental Water Solutions are both subsidiary companies of McKenna Engineering. Pump Systems was acquired in January of 2003. Pump Systems, or PSI, has been and continues to service the sanitary markets, (food and beverage, biopharmaceutical, and cosmetic or personal care) in California and Western Nevada since 1965. Environmental Water Solutions, or EWS, was incorporated in December 2004. EWS services the industrial and municipal water and waste water markets in California and Western Nevada. McKenna Engineering & Equipment Company, been, and continues to service the industrial market in California and Western Nevada since 1978. The industrial market is now quite simply every industry that is not handled by EWS or PSI; and includes oil & gas refining and production, mineral mining, general manufacturing, environmental, and aereospace etc. The Company has evolved over the past 30 years from working exclusively as a process equipment distributor, to a point today where we work as a Manufacturer's Representative, a Distributor, Consulting Engineer, System Integrator, and an Engineering Contractor. The synergy between the companies is that they all perform nearly the same functions, all be it in different markets: All three (3) companies sell process equipment handling air, gas, liquids, and dry bulk solids. In addition to equipment sales we provide application engineering, system engineering; including design and system integration, fabrication services, construction and installation services , and equipment repair which includes field service. McKenna Engineering & Pump Systems both hold Class A Engineering Contractor's Licenses. All three companies work out of two main offices; Carson, Ca in Southern California, serving as corporate headquarters, and Fairfield, Ca in Northern California. All three (3) companies combined employee roughly 50 people. In 1998 McKenna Engineering alone generated roughly 7-8 million in representative and distributor sales 10 years later, in 2008 the combined McKenna companies generated over 30 million.
