Nestled in the rural northwest corner of Ohio, where Dale Bard founded the company in 1914, we service our customers both nation-wide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.
Currently in our fourth generation of family leadership, we like to think that the tenure of our employees says a lot about the environment in which they work. The average length of service in the office is 16 years, and the average length of service on the production floor is 21 years. We strive to make Bard a place where people not only work but also feel like they are cared for and part of a family, which is demonstrated by having an on-site massage therapist and an on-site personal trainer once a week. The company is also very involved with philanthropy, donating to causes like United Way, March of Dimes, the American Red Cross, and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few.
