Sherwin-Williams manufactures and sells labeled architectural coatings, industrial finishes and associated supplies through company-owned stores. We also manufacture and sell coatings such as Dutch Boy , Pratt & Lambert , Martin-Senour , Dupli-Color , Krylon , Thompson's , Duron and Minwax plus private label brands to independent dealers, mass merchandisers and home improvement centers. In addition, we produce coatings for original equipment manufacturers in a number of industries and special purpose coatings for the automotive aftermarket.

The Sherwin-Williams labeled architectural and industrial coatings are sold through over 3300 company owned specialty paint stores, located in all 50 states & Mexico. The company also manufactures and sells paint under Dutch Boy, Martin-Senour, Kem-Tone, Krylon, Acme, Rogers, & Weatherbeater brand names, as well as, private labels to mass merchandisers and home improvement centers. Most (85%) of our business is dedicated to developing the commercial and wholesale markets, whereby we sell to customers who use and apply our paint in their businesses; customers such as painting contractors, homebuilders, property managers, etc.
