Based in Corinth, Texas, we have served the North Texas area since 1937. We began as "Denton County Electric Cooperative" with the mission of providing reliable, affordable electric power to rural homes and communities. In 1998, we began doing business as CoServ, an abbreviated version of "Cooperative Services." While our legal name remains "Denton County Electric Cooperative," we felt that a name change would reflect our growing regional membership and our emphasis on service. Since then, this area's growth has made us the second largest cooperative in Texas.
