MAPEI Americas employs 1,150 men and women at fifteen locations throughout the region. Their current revenue size is approximately $350 million with an annual growth rate in excess of 20% for the past ten years. The Americas is excited with its continued projections of growth including plant expansions in North America within the next 18 to 24 months, as well as, plans to penetrate some of the Central and South American countries. In addition, they have enormous growth potential in untapped business lines of the parent organization.
Today, MAPEI Americas is under the leadership of Mr. Luigi Di Geso. Mr. Di Geso has been a member of the MAPEI business family for many years, and had most recently held the position of General Manager of MAPEI Inc., the Canadian subsidiary, since 2004. Mr. Di Geso is focused on using the strength of his well-integrated teams from R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Technical Service to position MAPEI as an overall leader in the manufacture of materials for construction and the flooring industry in the Americas. The MAPEI brand will continue to represent technologically innovative system solutions for tomorrow's needs.
