Company Description:
Provides direction and supervision to maintenance staff. Maintains building structure and systems including life safety systems, building automation systems, preventive maintenance systems, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, heating, cooling, structural, ground care, parking areas and kitchen area etc. Provides community project management oversight and ensures a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Maintenance Management. Must have at least 3 years in a supervisory position. Thorough knowledge of all facets of construction and building trades.
- Experience in constructing and submitting bid documents.
- Ability to assess critical situations, respond and delegate solutions to those situations effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal with various demands, pressures and complaints from residents, staff, guests and contractors.
- Understanding of all local and federal regulations and have proven knowledge in acceptable industry standards.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Management and Scheduling.
- Knowledge of computerized preventative maintenance program and work order programs.
- AFE (Association of Facility Engineers) Plant Supervisor certification preferred. Licensure in Heating / Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, EPA and Plumbing preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Associate Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in the field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
