The Antelope Valley (AV) includes the cities of Lancaster, Palmdale and outlying desert communities with a population of approximately 437,942. The Antelope Valley is a diverse and highly-educated community with over 50 percent of its residents having at least some college education.
Lancaster Community Hospital (LCH) is proud to provide medical services to the Antelope Valley community with 117-licensed acute care beds, a Heart Center, outpatient physical therapy and inpatient Acute Rehab Unit, inpatient and outpatient surgery and 24-hour emergency care.
The Center for Wound Care provides treatment for people with chronic non-healing wounds. This comprehensive wound-healing service includes hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy.
Lancaster Community Hospital, in association with Universal Health Services, will open Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a new full-service hospital in Palmdale. An accompanying medical office building is under construction.
Lancaster Community Hospital is active in the community, regularly participating with the Antelope Valley Board of Trade, Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance, Chambers of Commerce and other civic and governmental groups. LCH believes in "Community Service Excellence" and supports nonprofit agencies such as American Cancer Society, United Way, the Antelope Valley Boys and Girls Club and performing arts organizations.
