Value Place (ValuePlace.com) the fastest growing brand in the hospitality industry and the leader in the growing extended stay hotel segment seeks a President of our property management company. Value Place headquartered in Wichita Kansas is the 5 year old company developed by Jack DeBoer, the inventor of the extended stay hotel concept. Jack started Residence Inn in 1980's before selling it to Marriott. Today, we operate four business entities: franchising, real estate development, construction and property management. Currently we employ over 600 employees in 23 states. Value Place Property Management (VPPM) currently operates over 50 hotels. About 1/3 are corporate owned, the balance are managed under contract with Strategic Partners (how we refer to our franchisees). We expect to open another 30 hotels in 2008 under VPPM management. VPPM plans to manage about 400 locations by 2015. Nearly 700 franchise locations are under contract. Today the brand operates 94 hotels in 23 states system-wide; there are 66 hotels under contract to open by early 2009, with an additional 50-70 planned for 2009. We opened our first property in October 2003, our first franchise property in 2005. Our growth has been phenomenal, and unaffected by the current economic times. As the best, low cost alternative to the customer who needs affordable temporary housing our market share continues to grow. We celebrated 10 consecutive quarters of record setting revenue and profit achievement with no downturn expected in the next 5 years.
