About Royal Ontario Museum: With an annual budget of more than $4 million, the Capital Development and Facilities function consists of Operations and Facilities Maintenance, Facilities Contracts, Capital Projects and in-house construction activities. The function is responsible for taking care of the grounds and maintenance for all of the Museum's properties. The Executive Director of Capital Development and Facilities has a span of control of approximately 40 employees, including 2 engineers, 4 mechanics, 30 housekeeping, one carpenter, and two management positions. The Museum is in the midst of a $1 million exterior envelope project to repair the original roof and to restore its 1939 east facade.
