Berglund Architects is committed to providing and promoting environmentally responsible design and clients are always encouraged to incorporate super insulation, sustainable and healthy indoor building practices into their designs. The firm is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and has completed one Energy Star and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified home and is currently designing several others including two proposed LEED platinum homes. The firm has incorporated photovoltaic, hot water and passive solar as well as geothermal heating into its recent homes.
