The brothers have been partners and acting principals of the firm since 1968, following the death of their father and founder. James H. Viox Jr. Both Jim and Bill remain actively involved in the daily operations of the firm. Jim is the primary design engineer and is responsible for the planning grading and utility designs produced at Viox & Viox. Bill's primary area of expertise is land development and public projects. In addition, Bill handles managerial and project review activities for the firm. Jim and Bill are actively involved in several community and professional organizations including the Northern Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (NKSPE), Northern Kentucky Land Development Council, and the Northern Kentucky and Grant County Chambers of Commerce.
