We area program of the Gershman Y and are supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.The Collab provides social programs and events in the Greater Philly area for Jewish 20 and 30 somethings.OUR STAFFRoss Berkowitz is the Executive Director of the Collaborative and LimmudPhilly. Ross proudly describes himself as a Professional Jew and informal Jewish educator with many years of experience in the field, having previously worked for Hillel, Habonim Dror, The Jewish Agency for Israel, The New Israel Fund & Jewish Federation. He is married to the lovely Audrey and lives across the road from his favorite supermarket.Joshua Hersz is The Collaborative's Director of Marketing and Events. Josh grew up and went to college in Australia. Working, coaching and playing basketball for both Victoria and Australia Maccabi was instrumental in his desire to forge a career in the Jewish Communal field. Since moving to the US in 2002, he has worked in various programming departments at the JCCs in Margate, NJ and in Wilmington, DE. Josh has now been with The Collaborative for almost 2 years and recently bought a house in Northern Liberties with his fiance Amy.
