Charlie and Kelly Sterling were asked to be the honored groundbreakers at the ground breaking ceremony for Norwood Village which is a joint venture between Blount County Habitat for Humanity and the Foothills Community Development Corporation. STERLING performed Surveying, Civil Engineering, Rendering and Construction Management for Norwood Village. STERLING is proud to be a part of such a worthy project for our community.-Blount County Habitat for Humanity (BCHfH) and the Foothills Community Development Corporation (FCDC) have begun to develop "Norwood Village" located off of Morganton Road just East of William Blount Drive. Norwood Village is designed with 35 home sites. It will be the largest collaborative non-profit residential building project in Blount County. Recently, members of the two groups met at STERLING to view a live virtual rendering prepared by Jonathan Wollack, of what the new community could look like using each of the two organizations home designs. Virtual and artistic rendering is often used by the STERLING Architecture Department to enable clients to visualize the scope, layout, and design of their project and can often accelerate the decision making process.-STERLING was featured in the Knoxville Business Journal with a story written by free lance writer Kay Brookshire entitled; "Ownership Plans Provide Incentives to Employees".
