Company Description:
Architectural and planning firm in Colorado Springs that designs educational, medical, religious, retail, commercial, military, government, and recreational facilities.
When RTA began in 1975, there was no indication of how far this small architecture firm would be reaching over thirty years later. Through strategic planning and careful, intentional staffing, RTA grew from a one-person firm to the thirty-seven person firm it is today. Our 31-person firm includes 17 registered architects and 9 LEED accredited professionals with a combined experience of almost 400 years.
The vast majority of our work has been for sophisticated institutional clients who demand (and receive) high standards of design and maintainability, as well as strict adherence to budget and schedule. We meet programming and design challenges in innovative ways that exceed our clients expectations.
Many of the projects designed by the staff at RTA have received design awards from national associations such as the American Institute of Architects, American Association of School Administrators, National School Boards Association, and the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI). RTA is proud of the awards we have received; however, we feel our greatest reward is the fact that over 90% of our projects are for repeat clients.
